The Mission Statement

Dial-A-Mum Inc. is a unique contemporary organization that mobilizes and utilizes the skills and experience of voluntary mothers to provide callers in need with telephone support supplied by mothers at home who are backed-up through the co-operation of professional community workers. Dial-A-Mum is a healthy (normal) model that aims to reduce the distress, isolation and suffering of members of the community.

Dial-A-Mum Inc is a 7 days a week, 8am until 11pm Telephone Support Service, provided by mothers from their own homes. It is autonomous and has no religious affiliations. It is an Incorporated Association (Incorporated in 2002) and a registered charity with gift recipient tax-deductibility.

Members of Dial-A-Mum enjoy personal satisfaction, friendship, personal growth, and educational opportunities for self and indirectly for family and friends with their increased knowledge and awareness of community needs.
